Personal Commission Information (Non-Commercial)

 

 

Thank you for your interest in my commissions!

For commercial commissions such as novel cover illustrations, please inquire separately via email!

Please read the information below carefully before applying.

▸Usage & Restrictions

• Secondary editing, modification, or transformation of the artwork is not permitted.
• AI-related usage is strictly prohibited, including training, generation, or any form of dataset use.
• Re-uploading the artwork is allowed only when the artist is clearly credited, and the image is not altered in any way.

To help prevent unauthorized AI use, you will receive:

• a web-upload version, and
• the original file separately.

When posting on social media or websites, please use the web-upload version only.

It may seem a bit demanding, but it was the best solution devised to protect the artist's rights.🥹

▸ Content & Scope

• Commission requests may be declined depending on the subject matter.
• Additional fees may apply depending on complexity and difficulty.

▸ Schedule & Process

• The standard turnaround time is approximately 8 weeks.
  Commission requests are accepted only once per month, so please keep this in mind.
  I am limiting my workload to ensure the quality of my work. 
• We will first coordinate the commission schedule briefly via email.🗓️
  Once you send the required information listed below, I will review whether the commission can proceed.
  If the commission is approved, I will provide a PayPal payment link.
• You will receive a rough sketch for composition review, with one round of feedback.
• After the sketch is approved, the illustration will be completed and delivered.

▸ Pricing

• Illustration (1 character + background): $280 USD

▸ Payment

• All payments are handled via PayPal.
• Payment is split into two steps:
  • $140 USD upfront
  • $140 USD after receiving the finished web-upload version
• Once the final payment is completed, the original file will be delivered.

This two-step process is chosen to ensure a safe and trustworthy transaction for both parties.

Information Required When Applying for a Commission

When submitting a commission request, please include the following information:

1. Character & Illustration Details
Please describe the character and illustration you are requesting.
This may include character background, genre, mood, setting, or any other relevant details.

2. Pose / Expression / Composition
The more detailed, the better!
If you would like me to come up with what I believe is the best possible interpretation, you may simply write “artist’s choice” or “feel free to interpret freely.”

3. Additional References or Notes (Optional)
Any extra information that may help the illustration process, such as short descriptions, keywords, or references.
